Home / Antarctica 2015 / Buenos Aires
Our trip began with a couple of days in Buenos Aires.,Argentina, a quick trip to Iguazu Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil, then a couple more days in Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, we did much of the traditional tourist things. We went to a Tango show, ate steak at a traditional Parrila (Steak House), went to the cemetery where Evita Perone is buried, even went to the Malba modern art museum. We also took a tour of the Palacio Paz, which is mansion built by a local doctor. The entire structure, inside and out, wood, marble, brass, everything, was designed and built in France, then transferred piece by piece to Argentina and assembled in place. It took over 12 years to complete.
