The South Georgia Islands had to be the bio-mass highlight of the trip. We saw such large numbers of seals and penguins around the islands that it amazes me that anyone would take a trip like this and not visit these islands. We were at sea for two days between the Falklands and South Georgia. While the weather was great, there wasn't a ton of wildlife watching until we came upon Shag Rocks. This is an area of the sea floor that gets relatively shallow and the rocks are a few jagged peaks thrusting out of the ocean covered with Blue Eyed Shags.
